Frederic (Ric) Martini

Author

Dr. Martini has done his Ph.D. From Cornell University in Comparative and Effective Physiology for Work-Related to Stress Pathophysiology. In addition to professional publications, which include journal articles and contributing chapters, technical reports, and journal articles, he is the lead author of ten undergraduate textbooks on anatomy and physiology or anatomy. Dr. Martini is currently associated with the University of Hawaii in Manoa and has a long-standing relationship with the Shoals Marine Laboratory, a joint venture between Cornell University and the University of New Hampshire. He has been active in the Society of Human Anatomy and Physiology (HAPS) for 24 years and was a member of the AOP Curriculum Guidance Committee. After serving as President-elect, President, and Past-President in 2005-2007, he is now President Emeritus of HAPS. Dr. Martini American Physiological Society, American Association of Anatomists, Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology, Australia / New Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomists, Academy of Sciences, American. Science, and the International Source of Vertebrate Morphologists.

About the Author Elaine N. Marieb Elaine N. Marieb, she received her Ph.D. In zoology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Elaine N. Marieb joined the school of the Biological Sciences Division of Holyick junior college. While teaching at Holokay junior college, where many of his students were pursuing nursing degrees, he developed a desire to raised understand the connection between the scientific study of the physical body and therefore the clinical aspects of nursing practice.
